Challenges and Interventions

Although the newly introduced direct payment system has encountered challenges, resulting in delayed allowance payments for some students, NSFAS is committed to resolving these issues. Onboarding for Allowance Receipt

NSFAS urges all funded students to onboard themselves onto the system to ensure they begin receiving their allowances directly from June 2023. This will streamline the payment process and minimize delays.
